Job Description
Maintenance Technician / General Operations Support We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and isn't afraid to jump in where needed. No two days are exactly the same. This position supports both Quality Printing & Signs and Mailboxes & Beyond, & and our Empire Property Management Co which manages residential rentals and a large RV Park . If you're the type of person who likes fixing things, working both indoors and outdoors, and taking pride in solving problems, we'd love to talk with you. What You'll Do Your responsibilities may include: Perform general maintenance and repairs at commercial buildings and rental properties Handle basic plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing toilets Complete light carpentry projects, including doors, trim, shelving, and minor repairs Replace door hardware, locks, knobs, and other building fixtures Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the best solution or when a licensed contractor is needed Assist with property cleanouts, junk removal, and preparing spaces for new tenants Perform outdoor maintenance including debris removal, tree limb cleanup, and general property appearance Make local deliveries and pickups for Quality Printing & Signs and Mailboxes & Beyond Assist our sign installation crew with sign installs and service work Help with warehouse organization, moving materials, and other general operations projects as needed Help with routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting of errors. What We're Looking For Comfortable using basic hand and power tools General knowledge of home or commercial maintenance Able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions Self-motivated and dependable Good problem-solving skills and willing to learn Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Able to work independently while also being a team player Experience Experience in maintenance, construction, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, property maintenance, or a related trade is preferred, but we're willing to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic.
