Overview Countertop World is a growing stone fabrication and installation company with locations in Bryant and Rogers, Arkansas. We fabricate and install quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, and porcelain countertops for homeowners, builders, and commercial projects. We are looking for a Countertop Templater to join our team. This is a field position responsible for measuring countertop projects before they go into fabrication. A company vehicle will be provided for travel to scheduled job sites. You do not need previous countertop templating experience. If you have a construction or trades background, are strong with measurements, and pay close attention to detail, we will train you on our LT-2D3D digital laser templating system . What You'll Do Travel to customer homes, new construction sites, and commercial projects to measure for countertops. Use our LT-2D3D laser templating system to capture precise digital measurements. Verify that cabinets and job sites are ready before measuring. Review final details with customers and builders, including edges, overhangs, seams, sinks, backsplash, and appliance specifications. Take photos and document job-site conditions our fabrication and installation teams need to know. Upload measurements, photos, and notes to our system the same day. Communicate any job-site issues or differences from the original order to our sales and production teams. Maintain and care for company-provided templating equipment and vehicle. What We're Looking For Construction or skilled-trade experience such as cabinetry, carpentry, flooring, remodeling, framing, or similar work. Strong tape-measure skills and ability to work with fractions and basic shop math. Excellent attention to detail — sixteenths matter in this job. Comfortable using a tablet or laptop and learning new technology. Professional and comfortable working directly with homeowners, builders, and contractors. Dependable, organized, and able to work independently in the field. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and kneel, bend, climb stairs, and work on active construction sites. Countertop or templating experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person.
