Position Location El Dorado, AR Job Type Full Time Remote Type Onsite Job Description Maintenance Chief The Haywood The Haywood located in El Dorado, Arkansas has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Chief to join our team. The Maintenance Chief is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing and supervising the physical maintenance program for the entire hotel facility, ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and appearance of the property to maximize guest comfort and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing all building systems and maintenance operations Manage and direct the preventive maintenance program for guest rooms, public areas, and safety systems Respond to maintenance emergencies and troubleshoot building and equipment issues Partner with leadership teams on special projects, renovations, and capital expenditures Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations Supervise, train, and develop maintenance team members Maintain availability to support operations, including some evenings and weekends Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience leading a maintenance team in a large hotel or similar facility Prior experience as a maintenance manager or supervisor Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and lead team members Relevant certifications preferred (HVAC, CPO, EPA, etc.) Proven leadership experience The Haywood is committed to providing exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
