Up to $18/hr, M-F 7 am to 5 pm

Position Summary:

Assists in the process of prepping vehicles for further processing through shredding operation

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment to ensure it is safe and in working condition Drains all liquids in vehicles to appropriate receptacles Removes mercury switches & puts in appropriate receptacles Assists in placing vehicles within the facility for auto de-man processing and upon completion for further processing thru shredder May use power and hydraulic tools to remove auto parts Assists in cleaning and maintaining de-man area and equipment Removes tires and rims Removes battery and stores in appropriate location Removes catalytic converter and places in designated bin.
