Job Description

Best Sign Group is looking for an experienced Lead Commercial Sign Installer & Service Technician to join our team in Rogers, Arkansas. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with commercial sign installation and service experience who can take ownership of a job, lead an installation crew, troubleshoot problems in the field, and make sure the work is completed safely and correctly. You'll work on a wide range of commercial sign projects throughout Northwest Arkansas, including illuminated signs, channel letters, monument signs, building signage, EMCs, vinyl graphics, service work, and site surveys. As a Lead Installer, you'll be responsible for more than completing the installation. You'll help plan the work, communicate with the team, guide less-experienced installers, identify problems before they become delays, and represent Best Sign Group professionally at customer locations. What You'll Do Lead commercial sign installations and service calls. Plan the work with your crew before beginning an installation. Install illuminated and non-illuminated commercial signage. Diagnose and troubleshoot sign and lighting problems. Safely operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and other installation equipment. Complete site surveys with accurate photos, measurements, and field information. Review job information and confirm that required materials, tools, and equipment are ready before leaving for the job site. Direct and work alongside other installers to complete projects safely and efficiently. Train and help develop less-experienced installation technicians. Communicate job-site changes, problems, and delays to the appropriate team members. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades while on site. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices. Take ownership of the quality and completion of assigned projects. What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of commercial sign installation or service experience. Strong knowledge of commercial sign installation methods and equipment. Experience troubleshooting illuminated signs and electrical components. Ability to safely operate a bucket truck and aerial lift. Comfortable installing signage at heights and working outdoors. Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools. General construction knowledge and strong mechanical ability. Ability to read job information, drawings, measurements, and installation details. Ability to identify problems in the field and determine practical solutions. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to lead a crew while still working alongside the team. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. Comfortable using a phone or tablet to upload job photos, measurements, site surveys, and completion information. Required License / Experience Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements: Specialist Sign Electrician License or applicable electrical license. Journeyman Electrician License. Minimum of 3 years of qualifying commercial sign installation and service experience. Applicable safety and equipment certifications are strongly preferred, including: Aerial Lift Fall Protection OSHA Forklift Scissor Lift CPR HazCom Bloodborne Pathogens Additional experience with welding, vinyl installation, EMCs, and electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
