$22/Hour Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for an industrial opportunity in Springdale. This position is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to help maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate has previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience with strong knowledge of motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, bearings, drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics . This position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to complete repairs independently while working closely with Production to minimize equipment downtime. Required Experience & Skills Previous Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar experience required Manufacturing, industrial, or facility maintenance background Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of motors, conveyors, pumps, and valves Experience with gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge Ability to read technical manuals and mechanical drawings Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and work orders Proficiency with hand and power tools Experience using measuring instruments and basic diagnostic equipment Strong independent problem-solving skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Good communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or vocational maintenance training is a plus Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inspect industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems Diagnose equipment failures Repair motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, and gearboxes Maintain bearings and drive systems Troubleshoot basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform scheduled preventive maintenance Lubricate equipment and components Make applicable machine adjustments Replace worn or defective parts Clean and service production equipment Perform corrective and emergency maintenance Install new or rebuilt machinery Align equipment during installation Assist with equipment commissioning Maintain applicable building and facility systems Complete basic plumbing repairs Repair doors, hardware, fixtures, and related facility components Document completed maintenance work Maintain maintenance logs or CMMS records Follow all Lockout/Tagout procedures Assist with maintenance spare-parts inventory Recommend equipment and maintenance improvements Perform additional maintenance responsibilities as assigned Preventive Maintenance Candidates will perform scheduled preventive maintenance designed to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

Hydraulics & Pneumatics Candidates should have a working understanding of: Hydraulic components Pneumatic systems Compressed air systems Valves Hoses and fittings Basic system troubleshooting Identifying leaks or component failures Electrical Knowledge A basic understanding of electrical systems and controls is preferred . Candidates may assist with identifying equipment-related electrical concerns and should understand when electrical problems require additional technical support. Equipment Installation & Alignment Assist with installation of new machinery Install rebuilt equipment Position machinery appropriately Align applicable components Support equipment commissioning Verify mechanical operation following installation Coordinate with Production and other personnel during equipment projects Facility Maintenance In addition to production equipment, candidates may perform basic facility repairs involving: Plumbing Doors Hardware Fixtures Building components General facility systems Maintenance Documentation Candidates may document maintenance activities using: Maintenance logs Work orders Equipment records Preventive maintenance documentation Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Accurate documentation is important for tracking equipment condition, repairs, and recurring maintenance concerns.
