AM Starting Pay Range:
$20.65-29.45/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium Functions □ To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture □ Receive training as required □ Perform various positions as required/assigned Description This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks Applicants will be considered for any Truck Shop Mechanic opening. This position requires a current valid State driver's license. Must supply own tools for minimum maintenance. Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools. May perform air brake, electrical and air conditioning work. Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to read and understand assignments. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud .Requirements:
Must have at least 6 months of mechanical skills in the last 24 months listed on the application. 6 months continuous employments with one employer within the last 24 months.
