Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

The Caretaker/Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of a multi-family apartment community. This role ensures timely completion of repairs, preventative maintenance, and grounds upkeep to provide a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc.) Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and grounds Conduct regular inspections of buildings and systems Assist with unit turns, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair work Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently Strong attention to detail and time management skills Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Schedule:
