Part-Time Property Maintenance Technician Potential Onsite Housing Opportunity Sierra Del Saguaro is seeking a dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings, grounds, infrastructure, amenities, and common areas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has mechanical aptitude, takes pride in maintaining a property, and is willing to learn new skills and equipment. This is a part-time position, Tuesday through Saturday, with four-hour shifts. In addition to the hourly wage, an onsite housing opportunity may be available for the selected candidate, subject to availability and applicable property guidelines. This may include an RV site or a mobile-home rental space for an employee-owned mobile home. Major holidays are paid. What You'll Do Property Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the property, including plumbing, lighting, streets, the clubhouse, RV and mobile home sites owned by the park, and other property facilities. Repair water lines and pipes and install or replace water meters and shutoff valves as needed. Inspect and maintain irrigation systems and complete repairs as necessary. Inspect and maintain pools, spas, and recreational amenities, including pumps, drains, water clarity, and chemical levels. Maintain property vehicles, tools, equipment, and machinery and complete dump trailer runs to the landfill as needed. Grounds & Property Appearance Maintain landscaped areas, vacant sites, common areas, and streets to established property standards. Perform routine landscaping duties including weed control, leaf removal, planting, trimming shrubs, and removal of weather-damaged tree limbs and other debris. Conduct daily property walks to identify and address maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal concerns. Ensure the property consistently meets Sierra Del Saguaro's curb appeal standards and maintains a clean, attractive, and inviting appearance. Keep streets, walkways, public access routes, and common areas free of trash, debris, and hazards. Property Upkeep Empty common-area trash containers and maintain general cleanliness throughout the property. Provide limited cleaning support for property amenities and facilities when janitorial staff are unavailable. Inventory & Contractor Support Assist the Property Manager with the coordination and supervision of service contractors. Complete monthly inventory and maintain organized, properly stocked supply areas, including the maintenance shop, pool room, and other designated storage areas. Communicate maintenance concerns and property needs promptly to management and assist with special projects as assigned. Safety Follow all safety procedures when performing maintenance, operating vehicles and equipment, handling chemicals and supplies, and working throughout the property. Maintain a safe environment for residents, guests, team members, and contractors. What We're Looking For Previous experience in property, facility, grounds, landscaping, or general maintenance is preferred. Experience operating a mini-excavator or other heavy/maintenance equipment is a plus. Candidates without prior equipment experience must be willing to participate in training and learn the safe operation of a mini-excavator and other property maintenance equipment. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond proactively to maintenance needs. Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented, with pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive property. Professional and courteous when interacting with residents, guests, contractors, and team members. Ability to safely operate property vehicles and maintenance equipment. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Schedule & Benefits Part-time:
Set schedule an on-call Four hour shifts $18-$24 per hour, depending on experience Potential onsite housing opportunity, subject to availability and applicable property guidelines Major holidays paid
