Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to provide on-shift maintenance support for plant equipment, buildings, and operations in a manufacturing environment. Areas of Responsibility General Policy a. Ensure all equipment, building and plant operations are SAFE and in good working condition. b. Execute tasks and/or repairs as needed on shift. c. Implement authorized changes to equipment as necessary on shift. d. Communicate when parts orders are needed. e. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. f. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines. g. Maintain tools and consumables in good working conditions and well organized. h. Follow all Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures. i. Uphold the Blue Polymer Code of Conduct Standards. j. Support Continuous Improvement efforts as needed. k. Ensure all work is performed to standards l. Other duties as assigned or requested by the Management Team. m. Pass a Skills Assessment test to demonstrate the skill set below Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities a. Electrical a. 480 VAC installation and troubleshooting b. 24 VDC controls and troubleshooting c. General Knowledge of PLC operations b. Mechanical a. Plastic injection molding or extrusion machinery experience preferred b. Liquid handling Systems. Pumps, Valves, Piping Systems c. Conveyor systems and components. Gearboxes, Chain Drives, Bearings c. General Manufacturing a. Manual operation of Mill and Lathe b. Welding and or Fabrication c. Machine operation and equipment troubleshooting Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications 1.

Education:

a. Must have High School diploma or of equivalent value. b. Preferred vocational school Industrial Maintenance program or four years (minimum) work experience. 2.

Experience:

a. Ability to operate a fork truck and articulate boom/ scissor lift. b. Must possess problem-solving skills. c. Ability to read, speak and write English efficiently. d. Strong interpersonal skills. e. Detail oriented and ability to prioritize. f. Ability to multi-task. g. Preferred if skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word. Work Environment / Conditions The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of what may be experienced and therefore must be adaptable to. 1. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise. 2. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands of more than 40 hours with or without notice. 3. All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately. Physical Requirements / Demands The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 1. While performing the duties of this job, it is required to communicate verbally, read and comprehend information, and type when needed. 2. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. 3. Must be able to climb straight incline ladders at heights exceeding 50ft 4. Must have use of fingers and hands for handling and feeling objects, tools or controls. 5. Must have color vision.
