JOB SUMMARY
Shifts:
(both AM and PM Availability) Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all areas of the Resort and hotel, including heating and cooling systems, plumbing, refrigeration, pool and spa, mechanical/electrical and lighting systems, dry wall, masonry, painting and carpentry. Assist all guests and managers/supervisors who have repair or maintenance needs at the resort. Respond promptly to any emergency situation. Excellent customer service skills.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
 Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all areas of the Resort and hotel, including heating and cooling systems, plumbing, refrigeration, pool and spa, mechanical/electrical and lighting systems, dry wall, masonry, painting and carpentry. Respond to guests and staff who have repair or maintenance needs at the resort, to ensure the comfort of the guests and maintenance of equipment. Respond promptly to any emergency situation. Notify the Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer if the emergency is beyond the Technician's control. Excellent customer service skills.  Maintain the quality of the appearance of the interior and exterior of the hotel.  Work as a team player.  Flexible schedule  Adhere to all company policies and procedures.  Professional appearance, following the Appearance Standards guidelines  All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum one years' experience in heating and cooling systems, plumbing, refrigeration, pool and spa, mechanical/electrical and lighting systems, dry wall, masonry, painting and carpentry. HVAC preferred but not required. Safety management skills. Attention to detail. Clean drivers license required. Bilingual preferred but not required. Flexible working hours.
ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. Ability to stand, bend, climb, and push and pull items up to 100 lbs. 2. Ability to grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 75 lbs. 3. Ability to use hands, arms and fingers. 4. Ability to climb stairs and ladders working at heights up to 30 feet for extended periods of time, often times overhead. 5. Ability to pay attention to detail. 6. Work as a team player. 7. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
