Job Description

The Operating Room (OR) Tech - Radiology (X-Ray) plays a vital role in assisting surgeons by providing high-quality radiographic imaging during surgical procedures. This position ensures optimal patient care and safety while maintaining the highest standards of radiology practice in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform intraoperative imaging and radiographic procedures as requested by physicians and surgical staff. Operate mobile X-ray and C-arm fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively. Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams, ensuring comfort and accuracy. Maintain proper sterile technique and assist the surgical team as needed. Ensure proper documentation and image storage per hospital policy. Calibrate, clean, and maintain radiologic equipment regularly. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless workflow during procedures. Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Active ARRT (R) certification required. Current BLS certification (American Heart Association). 1+ year of surgical or intraoperative radiology experience preferred. State of Arizona licensure (if applicable) or eligibility to obtain.
