1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team on 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while supporting plant operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of equipment and systems in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Complete maintenance projects with minimal supervision while minimizing equipment downtime. Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs or component replacements as needed. Operate shop equipment including lathes, drill presses, grinders, band saws, cutting torches, welders, and other maintenance tools. Install, repair, and modify hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability and plant performance. Safely operate forklifts and hydraulic work platforms when required. Research and source maintenance supplies, replacement parts, and tools. Assist with maintaining accurate spare parts inventory. Maintain maintenance records, PM logs, equipment documentation, manuals, and related paperwork. Follow all company safety, environmental, health, and security policies. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform additional duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Technical School Degree, equivalent certification, or relevant maintenance experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in: Electrical maintenance Mechanical maintenance Industrial manufacturing operations Minimum 5 years of experience with: PLC troubleshooting and repairs Process improvements Root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and regulations. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills. Strong time management and prioritization abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to read and comprehend maintenance manuals, work instructions, and technical documentation. Preferred SAP experience. Welding and fabrication experience. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility where employees are regularly exposed to: Temperature and humidity fluctuations Dust, fumes, and airborne particles Moving mechanical equipment Vibrations and loud noise levels Please note that this role involves working with powdered colorants, and employees can expect to become dirty during normal job duties. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the shift. Frequently lift and move up to 55 pounds. Move materials weighing more than 250 pounds using equipment. Operate machinery, hand tools, and powered equipment safely.
