Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining beautiful, safe, and sparkling pools for our valued clients. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, properly functioning, and compliant with safety standards. Your hands-on expertise will keep aquatic environments inviting and pristine, supporting our commitment to excellence in pool care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pool maintenance, equipment repair, and general service operations while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs with vendors as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out maintenance tasks and minor repairs on pool systems. Conduct regular inspections of pool safety features and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, chemical treatments, and equipment status. Respond promptly to service requests for pool cleaning or repair issues from clients or management. Assist in the setup of new pools or renovation projects by installing equipment and conducting initial testing. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or pool technician is preferred; previous work involving mechanical systems is highly valued. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and perform equipment repair efficiently. Hands-on experience with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical balancing, and system inspections. Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools required for maintenance work. Prior experience working with pool equipment or in a maintenance role involving technical troubleshooting is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality service delivery.
