Role:
ACS Inspection Services LLC is looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in keeping properties safe by ensuring fire alarm systems are operating at peak performance. Responsibilities:
Perform testing and inspection of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 standards Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning fire alarm panels, detectors, and notification devices Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure code compliance Document inspection findings, test results, and service reports accurately and thoroughly Communicate inspection results and deficiencies clearly to management Professionally coordinate with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) when required to ensure all work meets expectations Program, zone description and configuration of fire alarm control panels as needed during service calls or inspections
Requirements:
Experience in fire alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and/or repair is required - minimum 12 months AES radio communication service, diagnostic, programming, maintenance, testing and repair - minimum 6 months Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local fire codes NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification, level 2 willingness to obtain Phoenix Fire Alarm Technician (CSA) license or ability to obtain one. CSA within 6 months Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
