Full Job Description Position Summary :
Oversees maintenance on Oshibori and Kansan machines and industrial conveyors for a household cleaning manufacturing plant. Troubleshoots manufacturing machines and auxiliary equipment. Starts Pilot Orders and follows up with complete documentation of run.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Tasks/ Responsibilities including but not limited to: Bilingual in English and Spanish Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging machines. Perform set-ups and tear downs, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines/equipment. Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Complete work orders and paperwork regarding daily maintenance and repair duties. Must be able to listen and follow directions. Read and understand work directions.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to apply various principles and practices in a variety of skilled-trade areas (e.g., plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc.). Knowledge of GMPs, lock out/ tag out, conveyors, mixers, gear boxes, control panels etc. Education and Experience 2 years of experience in the cosmetic or food industry preferred.
