Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Window Door Installer and Remodeler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing windows and doors across residential and commercial projects, as well as working on remodeling projects such as kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, deck repairs, etc. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety with inside/outside work. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install windows and doors according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to accurately complete installations Handle heavy lifting of window units and doors safely using appropriate techniques and equipment Hang doors, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and install fixtures such as locks, handles, and hardware Read schematics and blueprints to interpret project requirements accurately Framing and deck construction and decking installation Apply mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting installation issues and making necessary adjustments Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies Skills Experience with window installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, drills) and power tools (e.g., nail guns, grinders) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining strong attention to detail Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Experience in remodeling projects involving cabinetry, fixture updates, or structural modifications Strong construction site experience with adherence to safety protocols Versatile handyman skills including painting, caulking, drywall finishing, and general repairs Reliable trasportation to job sites.
