Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of hotel facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to facility management. Duties Conduct daily inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met. Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system servicing, and general repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime. Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of fixtures and appliances throughout the hotel. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and address specific needs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activities. Respond efficiently to emergency repair requests to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance technician or engineer in a hospitality or similar environment preferred. Technical knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and perform repairs independently. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces. Relevant certifications or licenses related to electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work are advantageous but not mandatory.
