Job Summary (Salary commensurate with experience, raises based upon performance) We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Vacation Rental Maintenance Technician to keep our rental properties safe, clean, functional, and guest-ready. This position is responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and property inspections between guest stays. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of vacation rental properties. Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Repair or replace fixtures, locks, doors, appliances, furniture, and other property items. Troubleshoot issues reported by guests, cleaners, or property managers. Check HVAC systems, smoke detectors, lighting, plumbing, and other essential systems. Respond to maintenance requests and urgent property issues when needed. Complete preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs. Maintain outdoor areas, including basic landscaping and pool/spa-related tasks as required. Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs beyond your skill level. Document completed work and report larger maintenance issues promptly. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude around guests. Qualifications Previous maintenance, handyman, construction, or property-management experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general home repairs. Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties or tasks. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to property quality. Must be dependable, responsive, and comfortable working flexible hours.
