Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC units, and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct troubleshooting for complex issues involving air conditioning, refrigeration, kitchen appliances, and mechanical systems repair. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist with construction-related tasks when required. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Proficiency reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. Demonstrated experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including equipment repair and preventive maintenance strategies. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about technical issues. Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; previous construction experience is a plus. Leadership qualities with the capacity to guide junior technicians or lead small projects confidently. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology standards; familiarity with HVAC & appliance installation processes is preferred.
