The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting production processes by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery. This position requires a proactive approach to equipment care and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The work schedule is from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on converting and corrugating equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Collaborate with production teams to address equipment concerns promptly and efficiently. Follow safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and OSHA standards. Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance or a related technical field, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant training preferred.
Pay:
$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
