Job Description

Job Summary The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all slot related equipment including slot machines and components, on floor slot monitoring systems, on floor ticket printer accounting systems, slot signage and progressive controllers, and other equipment as assigned. Job Description
  • Performs scheduled and "as needed" preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Preventive Maintenance Log is accurately completed.
  • Responsible for replacing or repairing minor machine components.
  • Safeguards company assets.
  • Promotes teamwork within Slot Operations and with other departments.
  • Follows all laws, gaming regulations, policies and procedures and reports violations to the Slot Performance Supervisor.
  • Attends all scheduled team member meetings and trainings.
  • Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes company services and players' club program.
  • Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
  • Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrated good interpersonal relations/guest service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
  • Ability to resolve problems as they arise and handle situations in an expedient manner.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to adjust to change.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
