Full-Time, Monday-Friday (On-Call as Needed)

Position Summary Arrowhead Housing is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance needs of an apartment community under the direction of the Maintenance Manager in Anaheim, CA. This is a hands-on position for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. Working closely with the Community Manager and Maintenance Manager, you will help maintain the property's appearance, safety, and functionality while providing excellent service to our residents. What You'll Do Complete work orders promptly, professionally, and according to company standards, including: Basic plumbing repairs Minor electrical repairs Carpentry Drywall and painting Perform apartment make-ready duties, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance and assist with routine property inspections. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of common areas, including laundry rooms, hallways, stairwells, breezeways, mailbox areas, and trash enclosures. Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property issues to the Maintenance Manager or Community Manager. Assist with maintaining the property's buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas. Assist with vendor access and coordination as directed. Maintain proper inventory and organization of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Deliver resident notices as requested. Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies on an on-call basis. Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with residents, vendors, and team members. Represent Arrowhead Housing professionally while providing outstanding customer service to residents. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical certifications or trade training are a plus. Experience Minimum of 1 year of multifamily property maintenance experience preferred. Affordable housing experience is a plus. Experience with apartment turns and make-ready maintenance preferred. Required Skills Basic plumbing, including toilets, faucets, sinks, valves, and minor repairs Basic electrical troubleshooting and lighting repairs Carpentry, including doors, locks, shelving, countertops, and general repairs Drywall repair and painting Apartment turnover and make-ready maintenance Preventative maintenance Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay organized Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance software Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and assist with heavier items when needed. Push or pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds . Frequently bend, walk, stand, climb stairs, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday. Safely operate maintenance equipment and tools, including pressure washers, paint sprayers, hand tools, and power tools. Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation is required.
