Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Level II responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in maintenance, inspections, and repair of facility equipment and infrastructure. Independent judgment concerning equipment and facility operations, diagnosis, and selecting proper repair methods needed to perform repairs on equipment. Accurate assessment of time requirement to complete work and an appropriate level of attention to detail to ensure the work is completed fully to include job site cleanliness. Begin to develop leadership skills and ability to train Mechanic I personnel on all tasks related to the facility. What You Will Need:
Must be able to be Forklift Certified. Previous experience driving a forklift. Minimum of six months of previous Maintenance/Mechanical experience. Minimum six months of previous experience with MIG, TIG and stick welding. Must pass the Mechanic level II qualification exam and demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of the Mechanic level I. Must understand and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Must understand and comply with all company safety policies including lock-out/tag-out procedures and policies. Must be trainable in all aspects of safety as it pertains to the maintenance and repair of machinery. Must be able to demonstrate a friendly and productive attitude in a highly intensive work environment and show a willingness to support all Production activities as required. Must be dependable and reliable. Must demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and techniques. Ability to work different shifts and in different areas of the facility. Ability to work overtime or weekends depending on business need. Remote work not available for this position. Able to read and understand written information in English. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.Benefits:
