Job Description

Job Summary Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician We are looking for an experienced, skilled, hard-working, and serious Maintenance Technician to join our team at an apartment community currently undergoing significant property improvements and unit renovations. We are looking for someone who is honest, dependable, communicative, professional, and takes pride in their work. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company, take on more responsibility, and build a career with us.
What We're Looking For:
Strong apartment/property maintenance experience Experienced with unit turns, make-readies, and unit renovations Skilled in drywall, painting, plumbing, basic electrical, appliances, fixtures, doors, locks, and general repairs Familiar with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs Familiar with basic lawn and sprinkler/irrigation system maintenance and repairs Able to identify exterior repairs, maintenance issues, and potential problems around the property before they become larger issues Proactive in keeping the property running smoothly rather than waiting to be told about every issue Takes ownership of the general condition, appearance, and cleanliness of the property Helps ensure common areas, grounds, maintenance areas, and the overall property are kept clean and presentable Able to work fast and efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the work Able to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions Must have your own tools and power tools Able to work independently, take initiative, and stay productive without constant supervision Able to work well as part of a team and be a team player Hard-working, organized, reliable, and punctual Honest and communicative with management and coworkers Presentable, professional, and good with people Understands proper property etiquette when entering occupied units and interacting with residents Respectful of residents, their homes, and their belongings Keeps units and work areas clean and organized Perform tasks as requested etc. We are actively remodeling and improving the property and unit interiors, so we need someone who can do more than simply complete assigned work orders. We want someone who pays attention to the property as a whole, notices what needs attention, and takes initiative to address or report issues. The right candidate should be comfortable handling full unit turns, renovations, repairs, preventative maintenance, HVAC, resident work orders, basic exterior and irrigation maintenance, and helping maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the community. We are looking for someone who is serious about the position and wants to grow with the company long-term. Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
