Job Description
Please note the hours for this shift: 11:00 PM to 7:e0 AM The primary role of a Reliability and Maintenance Technician Level 2 function is to apply advanced skills, knowledge, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance to maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and documentation. Assists in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of automated manufacturing systems. This role focuses on robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, ensuring system reliability, minimal downtime, and continuous process improvements. Let's talk about Responsibilities Ensures all necessary safety protocols, information and safety hazards connected with work being performed are followed and Ensures effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for automated equipment and systems. Must be "hands on" Will keep all PM documentation up to date within the Quality System Keeps management appraised of escalating abnormal or critical situations. Utilize complex blueprints and schematics and troubleshoot/analyze problems. Perform preventive maintenance duties as they are developed Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience Excellent technical and operational knowledge of automated equipment and systems Ability to troubleshoot complex automated systems controlled by computers programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and microprocessors in a high-volume work environment. Must be highly proficient in pneumatics and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings. Strong aptitude for repair and maintenance activities Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently Ability to operate independently to multi-task and to prioritize quickly Knowledge of Allen Bradley Controls systems preferred.
