Full Job Description SUMMARY:
A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company is looking for the talents of a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance of the facility, utilities, and lab equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform general maintenance on the facility which include Air Handler Units (AHUs), A/C Units Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), complete maintenance work orders on facility, equipment, and utilities. Install or liaise with external vendors to ensure adequate utilities (electrical, gas, etc) for equipment, and also perform troubleshooting Keep track and contact external vendors for waste and utilities management of the facility Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and manuals to understand the basic information and procedures of machine operation and setup. General handyman work. Liaise with Amphastar Machine shop to do some machinery work. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
One-year certification from college or technical school, four to seven years related experience and/or training, or graduated from two-year college or Bachelor's degree from four-year college.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception. Sunshine Act Amphastar reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations. These laws and regulations require Amphastar to provide government agencies with information such as a health care provider's name, address and the type of payments or other value received, generally for public disclosure. Subject to further legal review and statutory or regulatory clarification, which Amphastar intends to pursue, reimbursement of recruiting expenses for licensed physicians may constitute a reportable transfer of value under the federal transparency law commonly known as the Sunshine Act.
