In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring pools are clean, chemically balanced, and functioning optimally. Your expertise will help provide exceptional experiences for pool users while upholding safety standards and operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain cleanliness and water clarity. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to ensure proper operation. Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct regular maintenance tasks on pool plumbing systems and mechanical components to prevent issues and extend equipment lifespan. Repair or replace faulty pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor water levels and chemical balances daily, adjusting treatments as necessary to meet health and safety standards. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to various aquatic facilities while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with clients or facility staff regarding pool conditions or maintenance needs. Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and outdoor work environments. Experience Prior experience in pool maintenance or working at aquatic facilities is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems such as pumps, filters, plumbing, and water treatment equipment. Familiarity with handling water treatment chemicals safely and correctly balancing pool chemistry. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting pool equipment issues using hand tools and power tools. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients or facility staff about maintenance status or concerns. Outdoor work experience that demonstrates comfort working in variable weather conditions. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly is a plus.
