Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with preventive maintenance, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues while following all safety procedures. 1st shift Monday-Friday, some weekends are required. Long Term Key Responsibilities Understand and assure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and food safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) Initiate or assist with facility maintenance orders to include welding, plumbing, electrical, painting, building repairs, equipment repair or installation of new equipment Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner. Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failures. Install, assemble, and test new machinery and equipment. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, valves, and other mechanical systems. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with production, operations, and other departments to minimize downtime. Recommend equipment improvements and process enhancements to increase reliability and efficiency. Execute additional duties assigned to support plant operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ year's industrial maintenance experience. Knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, motors, and power transmission. Familiar with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and Spray Dryer Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Must have reliable transportation Working Conditions Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in manufacturing and warehouse. Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting throughout the shift. Monday

•3:30pm Maybe required to work weekends and over time as needed. Exposure to noise, moving machinery, dust, heat, cold, and other industrial conditions

Pay:

$28.00

•$30.00 per hour
