Lead Window and Door Installer
Job Description
Job Summary Gomez Glazing Co. is seeking an experienced, skilled, and reliable Lead Window and Door Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential window and door retrofit installations across Southern California. As the lead installer, you will be responsible for running job sites, ensuring precise measurements, performing flawless installations, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Installation Excellence:
Expertly install aluminum, vinyl, fiberglass and wood windows, as well as sliding patio doors, French doors, and entry doors (pocket and full-frame retrofits).Job Site Leadership:
Oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with helpers or crew members, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.Precision & Prep:
Verify field measurements, handle product staging, and prepare rough openings meticulously.Flashing & Sealing:
Ensure proper flashing, waterproofing, insulation, and caulking to guarantee weather-tight seals and compliance with manufacturer specs.Client Relations:
Maintain a professional, clean, and courteous demeanor on residential job sites, answering client questions and representing Gomez Glazing Co. with integrity.Quality Control:
Perform final walk-throughs, adjust operating hardware, and ensure cleanups meet company standards.Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable hands-on experience in residential window and door installation.Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of flashing details, waterproofing, stucco/trim integration, and squaring/leveling units in retrofit and new construction applications.Tools:
Must own standard installation hand tools, power tools (miter saw, drills, reciprocating saws, etc.).Certifications:
EPA Lead-Safe Renovator certification is a strong plus.Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to job sites across Southern California.Bilingual:
English speakers required; Spanish-speaking skills are a strong asset.Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:
