This position is responsible for the routine day-to-day maintenance, upkeep, and appearance of the mobile home community. The Maintenance Technician is required to live on-site at Countrywood Estates and will also participate in after-hours on-call responsibilities for maintenance issues requiring prompt attention. Larger or specialized maintenance projects are generally performed by outside contractors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable and responsive, and communicates professionally and respectfully with residents and management.Hours :
Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm On-Site & On-Call Requirements Must reside on-site at Countrywood Estates Participate in an established after-hours on-call schedule Respond appropriately to urgent maintenance matters occurring outside regular working hours Assess reported after-hours maintenance issues and take appropriate action within the scope of the position Contact management and/or appropriate outside vendors when an issue requires specialized repair or additional assistance Maintain professional and respectful communication with residents when responding to maintenance matters Benefits & Employee Perks Health and dental benefits available after successful completion of the 60-day probationary period Maintenance Responsibilities Perform routine day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs throughout the community Respond to resident maintenance requests as assigned by management Maintain common areas, community facilities, grounds, and equipment Perform basic preventive maintenance Identify maintenance, property, and safety concerns and promptly report them to management Assist with routine upkeep and property improvement projects Assist with access and coordination when outside contractors perform larger or specialized repairs Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition Safely operate a company golf cart throughout the property while performing assigned duties Work closely with the Park Manager and other team members to maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of the community Qualifications Previous mobile home community, apartment, property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or similar experience preferred General knowledge of basic property maintenance and minor repairs Ability to identify maintenance and safety concerns Ability to safely use basic hand and maintenance tools Basic computer and smartphone skills Professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact respectfully and professionally with residents Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Good judgment when determining whether a maintenance issue requires management or outside vendor assistance Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to safely operate a company golf cart Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Must be willing and able to reside on-site at Countrywood Estates Must be able to participate in assigned after-hours on-call responsibilities Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Regularly walk throughout the community Stand, bend, reach, kneel, and perform routine physical maintenance tasks Safely use basic maintenance tools and equipment Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Lift and carry up to 25 pounds Benefits & Employee Perks Health and dental benefits available after successful completion of the 60-day probationary period Retirement benefits available after one year of employment Annual company-provided uniforms $125 annual work boot allowance Stable position with an established mobile home communityJob Type:
