Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - III / Master Electrician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility .The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, and industrial mechanics. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety within the facility. Responsibilities & Duties:
Perform comprehensive electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on industrial machinery, control systems, and electrical infrastructure using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Conduct equipment repairs, including wiring, motor repairs, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, and calibration to ensure peak performance. Maintain and repair HVAC systems, HVAC/R units (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical systems using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and implement engineering solutions effectively. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule preventive maintenance tasks, document repairs, and track equipment history. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by providing timely technical support and performing emergency repairs when necessary. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Adhere to safety protocols related to low voltage systems, welding (stick welding), electrical systems, and industrial mechanics while maintaining a safe work environment. Knowledge of Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures. Proper and safe setup and maintenance of machines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong background in industrial electrician work and mechanical maintenance. Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent certification demonstrating advanced electrical expertise. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems including troubleshooting pneumatic systems, low voltage controls, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, hydraulics, and HVAC/R units. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and precision measuring instruments for accurate analysis. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently within an industrial setting. Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment repair involving electrical diagnostics and mechanical components. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning and documentation is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to clearly document technical issues and solutions. Basic Computers skills Demonstrated customer service orientation with analysis skills for problem resolution under pressure. Reporting as needed of maintenance backlogs, machine down time, and lead times to management.
Physical Demands:
Sitting, Standing, climbing, and bending movements: Frequent standing with breaks according to work schedule, frequent bending movements. Repetitive work with both hands-on parts and computer usage. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at certain times. Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and forklift. Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
