Duties include basic plumbing repairs, painting, drywall patching, minor carpentry, replacing fixtures, and troubleshooting general maintenance issues. Responsibilities also include completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing spaces for use as needed. Work requiring a licensed professional will be referred to the appropriate contractor. The ideal candidate has practical repair skills, knows how to use common hand and power tools safely, and can identify problems and prioritize tasks. Strong communication, attention to detail, and respectful interactions with residents, visitors, and coworkers are essential. Starting pay is $20

• 23 per hour, based on knowledge and experience. Duties Include but are not limited to:
• Cleaning around the property for first half of the day, maintenance for the other half
• Responsible for preparation of vacant apartments, general maintenance repairs and Service Requests, preventive maintenance and help with projects
• Ensure all repairs/replacements necessary for apartment to be ready for move-in are completed.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting. HVAC and plumbing is a PLUS.
• Ensure all trash from apartments is removed before, during and after make-ready activity.
• Must have basic tools
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in
• Complete regular maintenance tasks and work orders
• Repairing & treating structures that need stucco work, drywall repairs, & painting
• Identify and correct hazardous property conditions. During normal course of duty, look for needed maintenance and liability hazards
• Repair/replace appliances.
