Job Description

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd Shift (1:30pm -10:00pm) to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operations Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that has been in business for over 30 years! Hourly Rate:
$33 - $38 DOE + $2.50 Shift Differential
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • Troubleshoot & repair various pieces of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic equipment
  • Ensure that safety-related work orders are given top priority to ensure the safety of all CPP team members
  • Perform scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Work on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 years of previous experience in a Technical Maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment required for this position
  • HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience working with PLC's and VFD's strongly preferred,
  • Mig and Stick welding experience
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of electrical testing equipments, skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools.
