Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience Experience maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems Hands-on welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick ) Basic metal fabrication skills Job Duties Perform maintenance and repairs on facility electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems Complete preventative maintenance and respond to facility work orders Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and building systems Assist with installation, relocation, and modification of manufacturing equipment Maintain a safe and efficient work environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Facilities Maintenance Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
