Lead fence installer

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Fence Installer to oversee and execute high-quality fence installation projects. In this role, you will lead a team of installers, coordinate project timelines, and ensure all work meets safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise in carpentry, construction, and blueprint reading will drive successful project completion while maintaining excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead outdoor construction projects, demonstrate technical skills, and contribute to the enhancement of residential and commercial properties. Duties Lead and supervise fence installation teams on various construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute fence construction projects. Prepare sites by handling construction materials, operating power tools and hand tools safely, and managing heavy lifting tasks. Install fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental fences with precision and craftsmanship. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process. Maintain compliance with safety standards by following safety protocols during all phases of installation and handling construction equipment. Oversee the use of welding equipment when necessary for custom or reinforced fence sections; ensure proper technique and safety measures are followed. Qualifications Proven experience in fence installation, carpentry, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of frame carpentry principles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively. Knowledge of building material handling including concrete finishing and hardscape work when required for foundation or support structures. Prior outdoor work experience with a focus on construction site safety and material management. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Pay:
$40.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
