We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and general facility systems to help minimize equipment downtime and maintain a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime. Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before they result in breakdowns. Perform monthly visual inspections of fire extinguishers and exit lights and report any issues requiring attention. Assist with cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting grinders, dryers, and other auxiliary equipment as needed. Support general facility maintenance, including basic repairs and upkeep of the manufacturing environment. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area. Work closely with Production, Material Handling, and other departments to address equipment and maintenance needs. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues as required. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with injection molding machines or plastic manufacturing equipment is a plus. Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment. Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics/diagrams. Basic knowledge of motors, sensors, switches, pumps, valves, and other industrial components is preferred. Ability to follow safety procedures and perform routine inspections. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, and materials as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds . Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and around machinery, noise, heat, and other typical production conditions.
