In this energetic role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining residential pools and spas. Your expertise will ensure optimal water quality, equipment functionality, and overall pool safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply mechanical skills, and deliver exceptional customer service while promoting healthy aquatic experiences. Duties Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning skimmers, brushing surfaces, vacuuming pools, and emptying baskets to keep pools pristine. Test and balance pool water chemistry using specialized chemicals to ensure safe and clear water conditions. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools. Inspect plumbing systems for leaks or malfunctions; repair or replace pipes and fittings as needed to maintain proper water flow. Handle water treatment chemicals safely, following all safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents. Operate company vehicles responsibly for scheduled service routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards. Document all service activities accurately in service reports; communicate effectively with customers about maintenance needs or issues. Experience Prior experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot pool equipment issues efficiently. Hands-on experience with pool plumbing systems, water chemistry balancing, and chemical agent handling. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques using various hand tools and power tools. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients about their pool needs. Outdoor work experience that demonstrates comfort working in varying weather conditions.
