Job Description

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Craft Technician to join its Facilities organization to support repairs and maintenance. This position conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery and equipment. This position tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment. The Maintenance Craft Technician works closely with various Facilities departments to provide seamless operations, excellent customer service, and a productive work environment. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our campus facility in El Segundo, California. What You'll Be Doing Repairs and services mechanical and building equipment. Completes service requests and preventative maintenance works orders. Acquires maintenance bids and performs maintenance walks. Analyzes repair programs; coordinates performance of modifications, installations, and repair work with building contractors and sub-contractors. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications in support of work activity. What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements for Maintenance Craft Technician II High School diploma or equivalent Three or more years of relevant experience Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems Ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Maintenance Craft Technician III include : Six or more years of relevant experience How You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these: Certificate of completion from accredited trade school We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. (Min - Max) $25.20 - $37.80
