Maintenance Technician Sanctity Hotel Rancho Cucamonga | Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Summary The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Department Head and is responsible for maintaining the physical condition, safety, and appearance of Sanctity Hotel Rancho Cucamonga. This position ensures a safe, comfortable, and fully operational environment for guests and team members through preventative maintenance, repairs, and timely response to service requests. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs of guest rooms, public areas, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure hotel facilities remain in excellent condition. Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and service calls. Maintain safety standards by identifying potential hazards and ensuring equipment operates properly. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and work orders. Assist with property improvement projects, room renovations, and emergency repairs as directed by the Department Head. Communicate maintenance needs and project updates to the Department Head in a timely manner. Support the hotel's commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence. Qualifications Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs efficiently and safely. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Prior hotel, hospitality, or facility maintenance experience preferred. Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties throughout the property.
