  • 10:30 PM & Saturday's 6 am
  • 12pm (Overtime work as needed)
Pay Range:
$24.00
  • $35.
00/Hour (depending on experience)
Shift Differential Pay:

What You'll Do Must be able to perform minor repairs and routine tasks efficiently, correctly, and safely Diagnose malfunctions on equipment and perform repairs Keep equipment operating by following service instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance Maintains specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usage Perform basic welding and grinding or simple burning and machining operations as required to adjust or repairs Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs and troubleshooting equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner Perform minor/routine maintenance or repairs as needed to equipment without the assistance of maintenance personnel Perform repairs on Hydraulic and electrical equipment as assigned Prepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairs Ability to work with exposure to extremes in temperature, chemical, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces Ability to work around moving objects , vehicles, and machinery all with moving parts Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow all safety policies and procedures Modify, repair and install all types of machinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable CMC Safety Policies and Procedures Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor What You'll Need 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, loud noise, uneven surfaces, elevated areas, and confined spaces Valid drivers license with safety-conscious driving record Heavy equipment maintenance experience
  • with an emphasis with fluid hydraulics Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to find root cause for equipment failures Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipment Proficient in reading and understand technical documents, diagrams, and service manuals Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills Experience with MIG and stick welding Ability to communicate with business leaders and employees Effectively communicate with others about possible production issues, concerns, and needs Ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a positive manner Your Education High School Diploma or GED required We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
