Fort Bragg, CA | Fort Bragg Cottages & Plateau Danco Group is looking for a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in beautiful Fort Bragg, California. This is an on-site position serving two residential communities—Fort Bragg Cottages and Plateau—with on-site housing provided. If you're a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping properties safe, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Respond to resident maintenance requests and complete work orders promptly and professionally. Perform general apartment repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances, and basic HVAC. Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents. Perform preventive maintenance and identify problems before they become costly repairs. Maintain common areas, buildings, equipment, and grounds. Inspect properties for safety, maintenance, and cleanliness issues. Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed. Communicate professionally with residents and the Property Manager. Maintain accurate work-order and maintenance records. Help keep the communities looking their best. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Experienced in apartment, residential, commercial, hotel, or facilities maintenance. A strong troubleshooter who can figure out what needs to be fixed and get the job done. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Customer-service oriented and respectful when working in residents' homes. Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious. Comfortable using common hand and power tools. Able to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors. Apartment or multifamily maintenance experience is strongly preferred. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, affordable housing, or apartment turns is a plus. Schedule Full-time | Monday-Friday The position may participate in an established after-hours/on-call rotation for property emergencies. Any required on-call or after-hours work will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Danco policy. $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
