- We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our second shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with the potential for overtime ranging from 10-15 hours per week. This role involves mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of various machinery, including bottle melters, blowers, and plastic molding machinery.
- Responsibilities
- + Troubleshoot mechanical issues on bottle melters and blowers.
+ Repair and replace worn-out shafts, bearings, and gears on conveyors and labeling machines.
+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting of panels, relays, photo eyes, and proximity switches.
+ Wire production machines up to 480v, including those running Allen Bradley PLC software.
+ Perform maintenance and adjustments on blow molds, trimmers, and palletizers.
+ Conduct mold, neck tooling, and pin changes.
+ Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
+ Rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
+ Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
+ Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
+ Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
+ Receive instructions and assistance from Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
- Essential Skills
- + Experience in mechanical troubleshooting of plastic molding machinery. + Familiarity with pneumatic systems and conveyors. + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and wiring up to 480v. + Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC software and PLC troubleshooting. + Ability to read schematics and perform controls experience.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Ability to draw schematics with motors. + Experience in welding and fabricating. + Compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

The facility operates with 40 employees across three shifts, utilizing production machines with Allen-Bradley automation. Employees work in a clean, regulated environment adhering to GMP standards.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $34.
00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
