Maintains ongoing production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities and/or
Requirements:
Responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all pieces of equipment including production equipment; building (inside construction) and facility grounds. Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems and apply preventative measures to reduce component failures and minimize equipment downtime and/or malfunctions. Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems. Knowledge in refrigeration preferred. Experience with electrical, hydraulic pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC, and HVAC controls. Properly read plans, schematics, diagrams, and repair manuals. Use of calipers, freezer gauges and micrometers, both imperial and metric. Understanding of Lock-out-Tag-out practices. Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and adhere to Quality Control guidelines.
