Job Description
Renewal by Andersen is the custom division of Andersen Windows. Founded in 1903, Andersen Windows has been the world's largest and most recognized brand for exclusive window and door systems. Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Window and Door Measure Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and assessing window and door installations to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct Pre-Installation Assessments (on site and remotely) to verify measurements and product specifications.
- Provide installation solutions that meet customer expectations for cost-effective window and door replacements.
- Identify situations that could affect customer expectations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of construction basics and installation.
- Adhere to established Renewal processes and standards.
- Recognize situations that could have an impact on customer expectations, job costs, and code performance, and provide alternatives as needed.
- Evaluate the condition of existing structures, frames, sashes, casings, and trims.
- Document any environmental or climate concerns, structural issues, or aesthetic considerations.
- Compare findings to project specifications, verify that the order meets the customer's needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide detailed written instructions for the installation crew.
- Create a materials list needed to complete the installation.
- Draft a floorplan when required by permit code.
- Prepare the homeowner for the installation appointment and the next steps in the process.
- Complete and submit required paperwork that is neat, accurate, and thorough in a timely manner.
- Keep team members informed of customer interactions and actions taken.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in residential construction.
- 3+ years of technical assessment experience in the home improvement industry.
- Proficient in measuring and installing residential windows.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple assignments.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams, and video conferencing.
- Professional appearance, excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, strong work ethic.
- Licensed California driver with access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Compensation & Benefits :
- Competitive hourly rate of $31
- 33/hour plus BONUS opportunity once training is completed.
Potential Bonuses:
$500- 1,500/month

Schedule:
- Full time, 40 hours/5 days a week, typically 8 am-6 pm, weekend availability required.
