Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Prominent Food Production client in Hanford/Lemoore area is seeking qualified Industrial Maintenance Mechanics . Objectives & Measurement -
Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to: Perform a normal range of mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair operations throughout the plant and office areas PLC's; Preventative Maintenance Work with higher classified maintenance personnel in the performance of more complex assignments related to new construction, installation or repairs. Must provide own tools Work from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, machine tool maintenance manuals, work order requests and oral instructions, to install, adjust, repair and perform general maintenance duties Dismantle the less complicated units, repair and/or replace defective parts or mechanisms, reassemble and prove out Maintain, adjust or repair bridge cranes, shot blasting unit, paint spray units, air compressor and controls, various machine tools, electric motors, air and hydraulic connectors, overhead doors and various other plant related machinery and equipment Major electrical repairs are preformed by outside vendor or higher classified maintenance personnel Level, align and secure machines, equipment and auxiliaries Install various attachments such as pumps, ducts, motors, tanks, guards, brackets and other plant related accessories Cut, bend and thread conduit, pipe and tubing. Hang conduit, string up wires and cables Perform ordinary plumbing and pipe fitting, with some limitation to maintain air, water and oil lines Perform ordinary carpentry and masonry operations as required Perform ordinary welding and brazing as related to maintenance requirements Set up and operate drill press and use off-hand stand grinder for repairs or fabrications of replacement parts Periodically inspect condition of plan operating machines and equipment for preventative maintenance purposes Detect faulty operation, diagnose malfunctions and provide remedy or report to proper Supervisor Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs and material usage Maintain equipment and working area in neat and orderly condition Observe all safety andISO 9001/14001

Two years Technical or Trade School education in metalworking, machine, tool, maintenance and electronics is preferred.Experience:
4 years minimum experience as Maintenance Technician or Mechanic In-depth knowledge of both electrical and mechanical aspects of machine tool maintenance. A strong knowledge of Industrial Plant Maintenance is required. Must be able to diagnose machine/equipment failure, and have the ability to repair the damage or have a source who can do so.FULL TIME
