$20.00 per hour Position Summary Synthetic Grass Warehouse (SGW), a TenCate company, is seeking a reliable and motivated Packaging Floor Operator to join our team in Hesperia, California. The Packaging Floor Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure products are packaged efficiently and accurately according to company standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting production goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and organization within the facility. The ideal candidate is motivated, able to think on their feet, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility. Unload incoming freight and assist with material handling. Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment. Set up, operate, and tend to various packaging machines, including sealing, labeling, stacking, and palletizing equipment. Accurately label packaged products and prepare items for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality protocols. Load packaging materials and assist with the disposal of packaging waste. Follow company safety procedures and production guidelines at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to communicate, read, and write in English. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. Minimum of one year of forklift-operating experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably and without assistance. Pre-Employment Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be willing to complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable laws. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and may require standing for extended periods, operating machinery, and working around moving equipment.
