Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining sparkling, safe, and inviting swimming pools. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, chemistry balance, cleaning, and filter cleans to ensure optimal operation and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help create a clean, healthy environment for pool users while supporting the overall upkeep of pool facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pool care and maintenance within a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain cleanliness and water quality Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure safe and healthy swimming conditions Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs with service technicians as needed Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment or parts Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs for each pool serviced Respond promptly to customer requests or issues related to pool operation or cleanliness Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment Requirements Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and troubleshoot pool systems and equipment Experience with equipment repair, pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and chemical balancing Familiarity with hand tools and power tools necessary for repairs and maintenance tasks Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping Ability to work independently while managing multiple pools efficiently Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in pool care while delivering exceptional service.
