The Asset Maintenance Technician at Ironclad Environmental Solutions plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of the company's specialized equipment used in liquid containment, waste management, and transportation services. This position involves conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting in repairs to uphold Ironclad's high standards of quality and reliability.Key Responsibilities:
- Repairs berms, bladders, liners
- Steel welding and tank repair
- Inspects and ensures all equipment is properly repaired and serviced before being
- Assists with inventory cycle counts
- Ensures work orders are comprehensive, including all necessary parts, labor, and miscellaneous items
- Operates forklift as needed to efficiently transport equipment and supplies, supporting daily operations.
- Delivers and picks up berms from customers, providing timely and reliable service.
- Performs other duties as assigned, contributing to team success and operational goals.
What We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience with specialized equipment used in liquid containment, waste management, or transportation.
- Welding experience preferred
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Forklift certification or other relevant equipment operation certifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Must pass a pre-employment physical examination and be able to obtain a valid medical card
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and adhere to ongoing drug-free workplace policies.
