Job Description

Ronpak has an exciting opening as a Maintenance Mechanic in our Mira Loma, CA location. Job Purpose The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for contributing to the general maintenance of the plant in keeping equipment and the facility in optimum operating condition. The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to support the Maintenance Manger through exhibited knowledge of mechanics, machine shop practices, mechanical support and equipment installations and modifications. Essential Job Functions
- Uses a systematic approach in solving problems through root cause analysis of problems and evaluations of solutions
- Demonstrates knowledge of technical skills to include but not limited to: welding, fabrication, mill or lathe work, electrical skills, plumbing skills, drill press operation, and comprehension of diagrams
- Tracks work performance through use of computer based maintenance software
- Working knowledge of production support system within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrates knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, good housekeeping and GMPs
- Demonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities and initiatives related to effective process decisions and goals
- Contributes to the tracking of parts inventories
- Collects and relays information to Maintenance Manger
- Performs physical tasks while working with equipment or machinery
- Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality.
- Performs additional duties as assigned Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Degree:
Four-year Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus. Technical Understanding and application of fabrication; mig, tig and arc welding, drill and tap holes Basic electrical troubleshooting. Practical knowledge and application of basic safety practices and use of power tools Ability to work with minimal supervision. Shows concern for quality work. - Ability to use tools and work with job specific equipment and machinery

Pay:
